Glendora, Calif. - Cypress College softball picked up a 6-3 non-conference road victory over Citrus College on Tuesday.

Courtney McGee picked up the win on the mound, and helped her cause by hitting a home run and driving in a pair of RBI. Arren Nunez finished with a pair of hits that included a triple, an RBI, and a run scored. Natalia Morales knocked in two runs and scored once, and Mallory Campbell drove in a run and crossed the plate once. Chelsea Jewett and Jessica Reichner accounted for the two other Cypress runs in the game.

Cypress (13-3) went into the top of the fifth inning tied at 2-2 with Citrus College (10-6), but a four-run outburst in the top half of the inning broke the game wide open. Citrus would add one run in the bottom of the seventh, but it wasn't enough to catch the Chargers in a 6-3 non-conference win.

Cypress returns home on Wednesday to host Golden West College in an Orange Empire Conference game scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
