McGee No-Hits Golden West

Courtney McGee tossed a five-inning no-hitter against the Rustlers.

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Cypress dominated Golden West College in an 11-0 victory. Courtney McGee earned the no-hit victory with a six strikeout, two walk day on the mound.

At the plate, Jessica Reichner was on fire. Reichner finished 4 for 4 with 2 runs and 2 RBI. Natalia Morales also finished perfect at the plate with a 3 for 3 effort that included 2 runs scored and an RBI. Kristina Victa and Olivia Arredondo both collected two hits, 1 RBI and 2 runs. Mallory Campbell and Monique Hernandez drove in the other two runs, while Melissa Mankey, Tiffany Fox and Katie Zwickl accounted for Cypress other three scores in the game.

Cypress heads on the road to Ventura for a four game set against Long Beach City, Oxnard, Reedley and host Ventura before returning home to face off against Santiago Canyon at home on Wednesday, April 4 at 3 p.m.
